Gameplay

An Army of Robot Dinosaurs is a classic RPG. You control a character (or party) as they move around a map. There’s usually local maps for quest hubs (like the Robot Lab) or quest dungeons (like Warehouse 1 and 2). And then there’s a World Map that lets you move from zone to zone.

Intro

In our game, you’ll start off in the quest hub (Elon Musk’s Secret Robot Lab behind the Tesla dealership), and your character (the Kid) will use speech bubbles to catch you up on the situation.
Your first goal is to familiarize yourself with all of the machines in the robot lab and figure out how to build a robot dinosaur. You’ll need lots of resources. But once you have a working prototype, it’s time to gain access to a manufacturing plant where you can mass-produce these bad boys.

Gathering Resources

Once you’ve gained access to a connected warehouse, you’ll be able to send your robot dinosaur to raid it for resources.
You’ll need some particular rare parts to unlock each new dinosaur, but for mass-production and modular upgrades, you’ll use generic “robot parts,” the game’s main currency.
You can find it in most of the boxes in the warehouse, but watch out for the worker bots and security drones! If they catch you on their turf, you’re in for a fight.

Automating Mass-production

Of course, the real fun comes from building an unstoppable army to take over the world.
To do that, you’ll hand to gain access to one of the nation’s major manufacturing plants. Once you’re there, you’ll need more than robot parts to keep the machines running. You’ll need to generate some cold, hard CryptoCoins to pay the bills.
The easiest way to generate CryptoCoins is by delivering customer orders. Those warehouses full of robot scrap are also full of undelivered consumer goods. Send some drones to deliver the goods, and make a little money. Automate some delivery routes, and you’re on your way to world domination.

Exploring the World

Though you start in Elon Musk’s Secret Robot Lab, the Texicali Desert is only North America’s Manufacturing District 1.
To build a large enough army to conquer the world, you’re going to have to consider all 13 manufacturing districts and put them all to work.
It won’t be easy. Some can be bought. Some can be persuaded. Some can only be conquered by armies. Lucky for you, you’ve got some.
So get building! Explore cool places. Build awesome battle bots. And when you’re done, take over the world.
That’s all. Should be done by bedtime.
